Before your first flight
Type familiarisation courses.
Every AndorraFly renter completes a type-specific familiarisation course with one of our instructors. The syllabus is competency-based: the number of hours depends on your experience and proficiency on the type, not on a fixed minimum. You finish when you're signed off — not before, not a lesson later.
Cirrus requirement
To fly the Cirrus SR20 G7+ or the SR22 G3 GTS, pilots must have completed the Official Cirrus Transition Course delivered by Cirrus Approach before any rental.
Safety first
Every renter is checked on aircraft systems, normal and abnormal procedures, and CAPS philosophy on Cirrus types.
Competency-based
No fixed hour minimum. The syllabus adapts to your experience and proficiency on the type.
